NORD
"NORD" is at first a rather general term - and yet the name reflects exactly what I want to focus on. It is about pagan, northern European cultures. Those peoples whose gods can be found in both nature and humans. In doing so, I am by no means limiting myself to a specific culture or era.
The self-image of NORD should be reflected in the logo. It is full of details and describes figuratively with which topics we deal.
The centrepiece is the construction in the middle, which contains, among other things, the letter "O". The symbolism integrated here is intended to illustrate different epochs of ancient Germanic history.
Finally, the middle construct resembles an old compass needle. Why this points upwards, you surely already know!
Finally, an important message: In the past, Germanic or Nordic paganism was severely abused by very powerful people - with devastating consequences. This delusional ideology, some of which persists to this day, is based solely on lies and malice. NORD clearly distances itself from any right-wing sentiment - just as the ancient Germanic tribes would have done, whose values and worldview could not have been more different.

The first element consists of two fir trees, which symbolize the northern European forests. Nature in its entirety and especially the forest plays an overriding role in the ancient pagan cultures of Northern Europe.

In the central part a wheel cross is depicted. This ancient symbol is associated with both the sun and the cycle of the seasons and represents the cultures of the Bronze and Iron Ages.
The upper part shows a double Tiwaz rune and is said to represent both the older and younger Futhark, as the sign is part of both runic alphabets. This element thus represents both the Vendel and Viking eras.

The final element of the construct is a magic sign inspired by the "Vegvísir". The latter Icelandic magic wand is controversial nowadays. In all likelihood, it is a more recent symbol from the 19th century. However, since the sign is based on the ancient pagan heritage, it is supposed to represent modernity and thus our present.
